Customers who make bookings via HI Booking Centres will pay just a 10% deposit. No additional booking fee will be charged. 10% deposit payments are processed locally by the booking centres, and retained by them as sales commission. No payment is made through the booking centre pages on hihostels.com. 90% of the booking cost will be paid by the customer on arrival at the hostel.
Booking Centre customers will be able to pay for their bookings in the local currency of the Booking Centre. Payment on arrival will be in the hostel's local currency.
